SEEKING: ACTORS-open to ALL AGES, ETHNICITIES, and PERFORMERS WITH DISABILITIES unless specified.
3 minutes total-strict time limit 2 short (1min) contrasting CONTEMPORARY monologues or 1 (2min) monologue; preferably from a published play (NO original compositions, NO classical monologues) MUST bring Picture and Resume, stapled together.

Spencer: African-American man, 30s. He is the youngest of Shelah's children. Spencer is loud, cheerful, friendly and full of good humor, yet pepered with resentment and passive agression.
Aubrey: African-American man, late 30s. He is Shelah's oldest son. He is strong, assertive and dominating. He believes he's the man of the house.
Creaker Johnson: African-American man, 60s plus. He is an old family friend who has been hired on as the caretaker of Shelah's house.
Crier: African-American man, 30s. Crier is Creaker's semi-estranged son who Shelah is trying to reunite.
Dr. Anderson: Caucasian man, 60s. The kind and doating, small town family doctor.
The Angel: African-American man, 30s - 40s. Extremely delicate and light, in a way he seems too perfect for this world.
