The Company is holding auditions for a night of one act plays to be produced in January. "LEAVES" is a new original play written by a local Bay Area playwright and the second piece is a devised new work centered around gender and sexuality. We are seeking actors of all genders, races, and ages.

"LEAVES" (by John Malin, directed by Jenny Adler) - "LEAVES" delves into the mindset of man being held captive in the forest and the woman who trapped him.
Jack (mid 20s-mid 30s): Avid hiker and outdoorsy type, a logical man of science.
The Girl (20s): A youthful sprite of the forest, steadfast on revenge.
Wynona (mid 30s to mid 40s): A spirit from a time long past. She has been doomed to wander the woods for eternity.
The second piece is a devised work focusing on gender and sexuality conceived. All genders and sexualities are welcome to audition.
Auditions will be scheduled in hour-long blocks. Please prepare a one-minute contemporary monologue (comedic or dramatic) and come prepared to move (loose-fitting clothing, knee-pads if necessary). You are also allowed to audition for only one piece instead of both. Please specify if this is the case when emailing to schedule an audition.
The show will run in mid/late January in Oakland. Callbacks, if granted, will be from 1:15-4:15.
