"Mame" Casting Call for Two Male Leads & a Supporting Role.
Seeking two principal actors ages 35-60 to play the roles of M. Lindsay Woolsey - Mame's admirer and close friend and Mr. Babcock - Knickerbocker Bank President and trustee of young Patrick's estate. We are also seeking an actor to play the roles of supporting characters Cousin Jeff, Ralph Devine, and Gregor.
Performances dates: November 18,19,20,25,26,27, and December 2 and 3.
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Mame Dennis, is living the high life in the Roaring Twenties in New York City along with her collection of eccentric, wealthy society friends and her life is one endless party. Suddenly, she finds herself the guardian of her brother's 10-year-old son, Patrick, and in the midst of a stock market crash that leaves her penniless. These circumstances lead to all sorts of misadventures for this cast of characters. Mame is an ebullient and irresistible story of the joy of living life to the fullest packed with Jerry Herman songs that are in perfect accord with the positive attitude of the story, and includes one of the most memorable title song ever written. Just in time for the holidays- we need a little Christmas!

Rehearsals are scheduled for Sundays 5pm-8pm, Mondays & Wednesdays 7pm-9pm (Thursdays to be added as needed. Depending on the role, some may not be called for all rehearsal dates.)
