Casting for Upcoming Western "The Bounty Hunter"
This is a non-union, non-paid indie film. Copy/credit will be provided. Please note, we do intend to turn this into a SAG new media project.
Set in the mid- to late-19th century, "The Bounty Hunter" tells the story of a man hired to hunt down a dangerous criminal and bring him to justice. Things are not what they seem, and dirty-dealing leads to the possibility of betrayal at every turn.
We are a veteran-founded, veteran run indie film studio. As such, we strongly encourage veterans, actively-serving military personnel, and law enforcement officers to audition.
Horseback riding skills are a strong, major plus but not required for most characters. Your own period-correct, authentic costume is a strong, major plus.
If you are interested in auditioning for one of the roles listed below, please follow the instructions. Failure to follow them will most likely result in your email not being seen, or otherwise ignored.
1.) Email with Subject line: BOUNTY HUNTER.
3.) At a minimum include: headshot, body shot, contact phone number -- please make sure your photos are current. If you take a cellphone selfie, they must be clear, well-lit, and contain what we asked for.
4.) If you have a demo reel, taped monologue, and/or film CV, that should be included
5.) We need to know which role you're submitting for.
Once we receive your submission, you will receive an email acknowledging that we got it. Shortly thereafter you will receive another email with a release/consent form and a casting questionnaire. We will not schedule an audition until we receive those two forms, completed.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
