Auditions for "The Lion King, Jr" Musical.
Performances: February 17-25, 2017.
Seeking females 18+.
Please come prepared to sing 32 bars of a song of your choice, preferably with a Disney-esque feel. A piano accompanist will be available so PLEASE bring sheet music with your cuts already marked. No CD or Mp3 track accompaniment will be accepted. Auditioners with sheet music for the accompaniment have a far better chance of being cast than a'capella auditioners. You will also need up to one minute of a monologue of your choosing.
January 5, 6p - 8p: Callbacks.
Come prepared to learn music for your specified vocal part and perform it as part of a quartet and/or octet. You will also be taught choreography and be expected to perform it in small groups, so wear proper dancing attire - no sandals, flipflops. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE NO "CALL" FOR CALL BACKS!
Please check our website at any point after midnight on Tuesday night to see if you are needed at callbacks.
Rehearsals for this production will begin January 9th, and will be held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights from 6p-8p.
The two weeks leading up to the production will have nightly rehearsals Monday-Friday from 6p-9p every night.
