Horror Movie Casting Call.
We are still in need of a few more speaking roles in our horror feature, Harmatia. The blank white boxes indicate the characters that we are holding online auditions for. The shoot will take place in Champaign-Urbana, IL and we start production in the spring of 2018 (yes, two years from now)
This is a feature length slasher film that we are aiming for the big festivals like Sundance, Cannes, SXSW, etc...and maybe even further than that.
This will be an SAG film, but have been permitted by them to allow Non-Union actors to be in the film for speaking roles as well. So in other words, everyone is eligible.
This will be a paid gig per day you are acting in the shoot. Travel/Lodging will be paid for. You will receive an IMDb credit as well.
This has potential to be one of the scariest movies of all time. An actor had to turn down his role in the film because he couldn't make it past the halfway mark of the script without getting nightmares. Be advised, this will most likely be an R-rated film and brings up sensitive topics like abortion, rape, murder, and necrophilia. Some rough language as well. With that said though, this film was written in a way that doesn't make light of those situations nor do we actually show any rape, abortion, or necrophilia. If you are a horror fanatic, this will be a great opportunity for you!
Here are the vacant roles:
ASHLEY: female, attractive, 35-45 age, short, slightly obese.
DR. PHILLIPS: female, preferably person of color, 40-60 age.
NICK: male, 35-45 age, bright eyes, slightly tall, preferably blonde
OFFICER #1: 25-50 age
STUDENTS #2 - #4: Deaf, traditional college student's age
