We are excited to announce auditions for "Big Fish".
Based on the celebrated novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film directed by Tim Burton, BIG FISH centers on Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest... and then some! Edward's incredible, larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him - most of all, his devoted wife Sandra. But their son Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind his father's epic tales.
Overflowing with heart, humor and spectacular stagecraft, BIG FISH is an extraordinary new Broadway musical that reminds us why we love going to the theatre - for an experience that's richer, funnier and BIGGER than life itself.
Please send an email in order to reserve an audition slot for the evening of Tuesday November 29th or Thursday December 1st. (If you are unable to audition on either of those dates, please contact us so that we may discuss possible alternative arrangements).
Performers should prepare a 32-bar cut of any standard musical theatre song that best showcases your singing ability. (Please, no songs from rock operas). A headshot is helpful but not required. Callbacks will be on Sunday, December 4th.
Rehearsals will be Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings beginning in January. Performances will be March 24 - 26 & March 31 - April 2nd, 2017. Due to the tech-heavy nature of the show, performers should be prepared to make themselves available for two weeks of tech/dress rehearsals prior to the opening performance.
