Casting 10 Minute Short Film
I am shooting and directing a short film that is a 10 minute atmospheric piece, about a man who visits a barn his family left behind after selling it. He drives to the countryside in Minnesota to visit it one last time and ends up running into an ex-girlfriend from high school. It is dialogue-driven with a sense of tone more than plot. Think of Terrence Malick films.
I need an actress to play ELISE HUNGTINGTON. Ideally in her 20's. Open to all looks/races/body types.
You NEED to have experience in improv. The script is a loose idea that I want the actors to improvise with. You will be playing a character more than following a script in very long takes and must be comfortable with that.
This most likely will take place in the Western suburbs such as Shakopee, hopefully in September.
It is unpaid so just looking for people who want to act for the love of it, with the potential of getting seen in film festivals. I am going to submit this to film festivals nationwide. It is also material for your reel. Food will be provided. Very low-budget. The crew will consist of me (Writer/Director/Cinematographer/Producer), a sound person and a couple production assistants. Very guerrilla style.
If interested, please e-mail headshots and portfolio work.
Shoot dates are undetermined at this point but am willing to work with your schedule.
