Short film, horror drama, "Nothing In Particular", shooting November 3rd-13th, flexible schedule with an experienced and organized production company.
Nothing in Particular is about a young vampire who finds her place in a religiously oppressive small town.
Tone of this project is an R-rated coming of age film with a tough of horror. Think Ingmar Bergman's Winter Light meets Stephen King's Salem Lot with a dash of Roald Dahl's Matilda.
Currently seeking multiple actors for this film. Experience is preferred but not necessary.
Mom - Female 30-50, principal actor. Severe, harsh, fatigued, exasperated, Kim's mother, who is at the end of her rope with trying to keep Kim on the straight and narrow.
PASTOR - Male 40+, principal actor. Humorless, severe, authoritative, a local pastor who is called in by Kim's parents to urge her to remain within the faith.
