We are pleased to announce auditions for the Pulitzer Prize winning drama, How I Learned to Drive.
The devastating, yet surprisingly funny tale of the troubled relationship between an adolescent girl and an older man. A coming of age story of life lessons learned behind-the-wheel on the rural roads of Maryland. A survival story.
Callbacks on Nov. 7 at 7pm
Needed: All roles open.
Li'l Bit: Female who ages from 11-40ish. Well-endowed, intelligent and sincere.
Greek Chorus: 2 women. The ability to sing 3-part harmony is desired.
Female Greek Chorus - 30's - 40's. Plays Mother, Aunt Mary, High-School Girls.
Teenage Greek Chorus - 18-25. Plays Grandmother, High School Girls, and the voice of 11 year-old Li'l Bit.
Prepare: A 2 minute contemporary dramatic or serio-comedic monologue. Readings will be from the script. Vocal auditions will be at callbacks.
Performance dates: Feb. 10-12, 2017.
