Casting for horror film short.
Horror short filming in Delaware County, PA and Gloucester County, NJ in late October and early November.
This is an unpaid project to be entered into film contests, though travel ($25 a day) is covered and meals will be provided.

Film: Tree of Good and Evil
Production dates: Oct. 28 to Nov. 13 (total of 4-5 days on weekends and nights)
Margie (25 to 40, need to look old enough to be Timmy's mom)
Caucasian. Female. Lead. (4 days)
Margie leads a life on the edge of destitution with no family or friend support system to help her and her son Timmy. She struggles to keep a roof over their heads and drags them wherever she thinks there may be an opportunity to make things better. She loves her son, Timmy, but puts him at risk by leaving him home alone much of the time while she begs on the street and looks for menial work.
Liza/Young Witch (18 to 25)
Any ethnicity. Female. Supporting role. (3 days)
Liza is a mysterious young girl whose chance encounter with Timmy and Margie lead to devastating results. Timmy is smitten with her and sees Liza as a companion and replacement for his mother. Her true intentions are not revealed until the end of the story.
Old Witch (50-70; need to look even older if possible)
Any ethnicity. Female. Supporting Role. (2 days)
The Old Witch is one of the central frightening figures of the story. She is the leader of a small coven of witches living as rural rednecks in a trailer in the middle of the woods. Timmy encounters her in real life and in his dreams, each time with chilling results.
Any ethnicity. Female. Minor Role (2 days)
The witch is a member of the coven living in the woods who have evil intentions for both Timmy and Margie. She is a frightening figure and encounters Timmy in both real life and haunts his dreams.
