We have a full-length album written, so you would also need to be able to write progressive drum parts that include some weird time signatures. Influences include: August Burns Red, Oh Sleeper, Silent Planet, Phinehas, As I Lay Dying, Becoming the Archetype, A Day to Remember, and more.
We are a Christian metal band with a mission mindset.
If you think you want to play music like this, and you think you would be a good fit, please call!
When Forever Ends is a progressive metalcore band coming out of the heart of Central Texas. The band combines unrelenting technicality and vicious breakdowns to create a dynamic live performance that has been referred to as "auditory euphoria." Fans have likened When Forever Ends to other notable acts, such as August Burns Red, Silent Planet, Phinehas, and Darkness Divided. WFE has shared the stage with other national acts, including Oh, Sleeper, I, The Breather, Forevermore, and Mouth of the South (now Rival Choir).
Formed in Waco in 2010, WFE began with the goal of exalting Jesus Christ through excellence in songwriting and performance, and inviting others to take part in that eternal mission. Since the most recent lineup change in 2013, When Forever Ends has focused on playing shows in larger markets such as Dallas and Austin, and recording and releasing new music. The band earned a spot on the inaugural Hoodang Music Festival in Austin, Texas, which featured bands such as Memphis May Fire and War of Ages. WFE released the Blood Bought in May 2016, and the Blessed Hope EP in June 2015. Currently, the band looks to expand their reach by playing shows throughout Texas and the surrounding states as the production of their debut full-length album continues.
