Some characters in the play have two personas - their own, and the part of their character in "Nothing On." ALL actors auditioning for Noises Off need to be able to handle the energy and pace of a farce, and have the physicality to be able to handle pratfalls, running, etc. It is a British comedy, so British accents are a requirement.
Dotty Otley - age 40-50s - plays "Mrs. Clackett" - must be able to do both standard stage British and a Cockney accent.
Brooke Ashton - 20s - dimwitted starlet. Actress playing this role, must be comfortable running around in her underwear. Brooke plays "Vicki."
Poppy Norton-Taylor - 20s to 30s - the assistant stage manager of "Nothing On."
Belinda Blair - 30s to 40s - an attractive up-beat actress. Belinda plays "Flavia Brent."
