No time to post casting calls? We will help! Send your casting calls to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will post it for you!
The main difference on the Casting360 site is in how talents can submit to your casting call. If a casting call is marked as Open, interested talents will NOT be able to send submissions through email. This means if a talent is interested in a casting call that is marked open they will simply show up to the call address given at the specific call time with no email involved. Mark Open if: you want interested talents to just show up and be sure to include a specific address and call time. Mark casting call Regular if: you want interested talents to be able to submit to your casting call through email and be able to get further casting information from you later.
Try to be very specific in your project title. For example, "Extras Needed for Feature Film" or "Female Models Needed for Music Video". Also try to be more descriptive in the project description. Talents find casting calls based on their search, so keywords are important in your title and description. You can also send out batch messages to talents directly. Simply do a talent search for your desired demographic and send a Batch Message and include your casting call. If you need help sending a Batch Message, contact our casting department.
Try to be very specific when you create a project title. For example, "Extras Needed for Feature Film" or "Female Models Needed for Music Video". Talents search casting calls based on keywords like, "Extras", "Models", "Movies". It's very important to also tell as much as possible about your project in the project description.
Be as specific as possible when providing Talent with a good project description. Specific role descriptions, pay rates, and shooting times all help you to receive submissions from Talent you are actually looking to hire. No one wants to waste their time submitting to a casting call they don't even fit, right? If your casting call is for a film, a TV show, theater, etc., be sure to include a log line or a synopsis of the story. If you are posting a casting call with more than one character, then list all the characters and the their differences. Example: Tall/slender Hispanic Male in their 30's (Spanish speakers a plus), teenage looking Asian Female with strong personality, Caucasian Female in their early 20's to play mother- lead role. If you are not specific in what you are looking for in the project description, then you might get a lot of submission that are not relevant to your needs.
Talent Submissions are sent to both your Inbox in the CD Zone Message Center and to your contact email to ensure that you receive talent submissions. However, you can change the way in which you receive Talent Submissions through your Settings page http://casting360.com/settings.php.
In order to post a casting call in multiple cities, you need to create a separate casting call for each city. Casting calls appear in searches by location. (Example: All San Jose members received updates on all new San Jose casting calls, if not marked for a specific city they will not be included in the updates.) If you have way too many cities to post a separate casting call for each please send us an email to email@example.com and we can make exceptions for nationwide casting calls if necessary.
If your casting call has been declined, it might be that you did not provide enough information about your casting call. Casting calls that are too vague will not be approved. If your casting call is declined, you will immediately receive an email notification explaining why. If you have any questions about your casting call being declined, please feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we would be happy to help you get your casting call approved and posted on our site.
Once your casting call has been approved you can make changes if needed. Go to the "Casting Calls" page and select the casting call you want to edit. Select the "Edit Casting Call" button located on your casting call. Once you have made your changes, you can preview your casting call and save. Casting360 requires 24 hours for approval of casting calls prior to being posted on the site.
To see who submitted to your casting call, go to the "Message Center". Feel free to message or call each talent member who best fits your casting call description.
No. As a Casting Director or Photographer, you cannot submit to other Casting Directors and Photographers casting calls. Submitting to casting calls is only available to members with Talent accounts.

Once you are logged into click the "Member Search" tab in main menu, which will direct you to a detailed search form. Here you can choose your search requirements and then hit "Search" and your selected talents will come up with the closest matching talents first. Be sure to search talents by location - city or zip.
Talents find and submit to your casting call located on the casting360 website. Talents generally search for casting calls in their area and submit to casting calls based on their interests. To make it easy for our talents to find casting calls that are good for them, we automatically populate their "My Casting Calls" page with casting calls based on their profile, such as, age, gender, location and category of interest (i.e. modeling).
Talents also receive a weekly newsletter populated with casting calls that fit their profile and that are located in their city. Most of our talents also sign up for text alerts and when a new casting call is posted in their area, they receive a text alert sent to their mobile phone for that casting call.
When a talent submits to your casting call, you will receive their profile in your "Message Center" and to your contact email address you signed up with. Talents do not see your email address. The submission goes through our system. When you receive a submission for a talent you can contact them by email or by phone.
We understand that there are times when you need to contact a talent right away and email just won't work, but we also have to protect the privacy rights of our talents just as we protect your privacy. The 800 numbers provided for each talent direct you to their primary phone line as if you had called their personal number. Please remember to leave your contact information when leaving a message because your phone number does not show up on their phone either.
If you need help you can email us at email@example.com or call our Casting Department directly at 1.800.981.4521 Monday-Friday 7am - 5pm (PST) to remove your account.
