BJ is a graduate of iO West (formerly improvOlympic) and studied at the Second City Hollywood conservatory program. He is an instructor at The Improv Trick in Hollywood.

After spending his college years in theatre, BJ soon crossed into his true love - acting - in film and television with an emphasis on live performance and hosting. BJ has hosted hundreds of live events, television programs, and national tours. His talents have led him to hosting national events such as MTV2's GameRiot, MAXIM's Spring Break, mtvU's Campus Invasion, Gamer's Ball and the Simon dTOUR Live Presented by ABC Family. BJ is also recognized as a sportscaster as he hosted the World Series of Video Games (CBS Sports). Amongst his hosting and acting credits, BJ was also selected as a spokesmodel for JohnsonDiversey at the McDonald's Worldwide Convention to perform in edutainment videos. Months later, the US Army selected BJ to perform in its international convention event in Heidelberg, Germany.

Multiple marketing agencies acknowledged BJ's phenomenal character acting skills when their execs chose him to perform as the outgoing, fun-loving, privateer, Captain Morgan. BJ's experience is full spectrum including film, TV, commercials, voice-overs, dinner theatre, and improv comedy where he currently is performing and studying with The Improv Trick.

BJ has worked along with Jenny McCarthy and Dean McDermott, hosting the ABC Family Guinness World Records Elf Party at Bryant Park in NYC. He has also hosted the LG Mobile World Cup (World Texting Championships) at Gotham Hall, and MAXIM's Spring Break in Panama City Beach, FL. BJ Has also performed sketches on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

BJ believes acting can be a powerful agent for change and inspiration. He has worked with renowned performers, acting coaches, and industry experts. He continues to seek opportunities to study and perform with some of the best in the industry.
