Tyra Fernandez is extremely proud of being a part of Moto Theatre
Company Dallas, founded by Mr. Kene Holliday.
Tyra lives in Red Oak Texas with her family and attends Red Oak Junior
High School. She is in the seventh grade and has been in the gifted and
talented program since the fourth grade, making straight A's in every
subject. Her favorite subjects are English and Math. Tyra first appeared on
Barney and Friends as an extra at the age of five. She was such a natural
that they called her back several times and later filmed a home video with
them called All Around The World featured as a dancer. Thereafter, Tyra
has continued to work with print ads, as a runway model, performing
auditions, acting, singing, writing and photo shoots. At the age of ten,
Tyra's parents noticed the potential of her being a singer and pursued it.
Tyra wrote her first song at the age of 12 and is due to release her first
single the summer of 2014. Today at the tender age of 13, Tyra graced the
stage in her first gospel stage play 57Years and is preparing for her second
gospel stage play The Calling. Tyra is best known for her dual role in the
independent film BEL (Bold Evil Liar) that was picked up by a gospel
internet station called allnationstv.com as an internet TV series. She is in
the process of filming the second season. Although Tyra is a busy young
lady these days, her parents make sure she enjoys life outside of her
acting, singing and her writing career. Tyra enjoys basketball, volleyball,
track, going to vocal lessons and hanging out with family and friends. Tyra
is the youngest of six and is very close to all of her siblings who are very
supportive along with her parents.
Tyra would like to thank God for all her gifts and talents and her parents for
all their support and continuously reminding her that her gifts are for a
purpose.
