Additional Information:

I'm the one and only "Godfellow". I started indulging in music at the age of ten, raised in orangemound on New York Street in the home of the blues Memphis ,Tn. I did what I like best and that was singing. My first song that I sung was "Practice what you preach" by Barry White in front of family but I started doing stuff through out my school career, I did Graduations, Christmas Shows, and many more. My inspiration was my uncle Samuel Elchols A.k.A Face, to keep on driving to do my music. I remember watching him when he was 16, making beats with his throat like Biz Marquee or some shit and rapping on a clock with a cassette player and built in Mic on it, bumping out the frame, making tapes. I started rapping at 12 and became serious after getting in the streets a little bit wildn out in Nashville, TN on McKinney St reppin with my fellow d-boys. I met a cat named Curtis that could sing and rap out the frame, I also met my brother ex girl Patrice with 3rd Degree a female duo rap group, and from there on, it was love with me and music. Let me back track when I first got to Nashville I went to Kings Lane Elementary and stayed in Kings Lane area on Sunnyveiw Avenue rappng with my homeboy Antwan from school giving out tapes of our shit at school. "Sunnyveiw Killas" is what we called ourselves. After the love from niggas and the females we kept recording, Face would ghost write for us and teach us how to flow the first song we did was over a "I Got 5 on it"-Luniz beat, I think I remeber a verse "I got realer than manila like Micael Jackson in triller" I think that's how it went. Then I moved to North CashVille and met my McKinney niggas. After all that I was hooked on the music game, that was and still is my main focus. I moved back to Memphis,Tn in 2000 and still pursued music I stayed with my dad in Raleigh (North Memphis) and went to Bellevue Middle School, and then Central High School for a minute, I was working with Mr.Del and Holy South at the time getting my life on focus and on point with "GoD" thats how I came up with my name GodFellow, I looked in the dictionary to see what my name meant and it means "God's Friend" and since then this name has stuck with me I started working with Les King a producer who understood my vision at the time, I made a few tracks on my Yamaha 270 and he re-did them and brought out the sound and tones, bassline, and everything, and I started writing songs about God and his people, spiritual rap is what I called it. I soon move back with my mother in Orangemound (Cherokee Area) went to White Station High School and had my own studio and label in the garage.
