Worked as speaking extra on "Bob", a short video for You Tube and My Space by Waylon Bacon. Will also be entered in film festivals.


Completed professional internship at KGO-TV. Duties included working with the
General Manager and the Director of Human Resources to develop a plan whereby other ABC Owned stations would offer internships to disabled people who had degrees in Radio and Television, Journalism or a related field. Also investigated complaints for the 7 On Your Side unit, and developed news pieces on disability topics,


Assistant Producer for two one-hour nightly talk shows. Researched topics, booked guests, wrote questions, and preped host on topics. Covered a wide variety of topics including the internet, aging, welfare reform, emergency preparedness, and a number of disability topics. One show won an EDI Award (Equality, Dignity, Independence) for television programming in 1995, from the National Easter Seal Society. Another show won an Achievement Award from Superfest. Bay TV was a cable TV channel which specialized in local news and talk of interest to the Bay Area.


Currently developing a television production company called The Irish Storyteller. The company has produced a half-hour show for KGO-TV about the disabled athletes in the Bay area who competed in the 2000 Paralympics in Sydney, Australia.

Previously, I pent six years (1977-1983) as independent video tape producer in Washington, D. C., area. Knowledgeable and experienced in producing, writing, directing, video tape editing, and all other phases of video production. Produced the following projects.


Asked by Ted Koppel to write and produce a 3-minute feature on the everyday
challenges of being disabled. Part of 30 minute show, aired July 6, 1981, about 13 disabled people who climbed Mt. Rainier, Washington.

Served as consultant to show about Americans with Disabilities Act. Suggested
appropriate people to use on both set-up piece and discussion and appropriate line of questioning. Aired the night before President Bush signed the act.



Spoke before two classes of continuing education for teachers about my educational experiences and career development. The first class consisted of educators in the public schools adjusting to the mainstreaming of disabled children. The second class was for special education students on the postgraduate level.


Spoke to group of concerned citizens, most of whom were disabled, about how
cable television may benefit the disabled community and increase possibilities of
careers in television.
