Auditions for "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" by Tennessee Williams.
One of Williams' best-known works and his personal favorite, the play won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1955. Set in the "plantation home in the Mississippi Delta" of Big Daddy Pollitt, a wealthy cotton tycoon, the play examines the relationships among members of Big Daddy's family, primarily between his son Brick and Maggie the "Cat", Brick's wife.
Roles are available for 8 men and 5 women.
Audition materials will be provided. The rehearsal schedule is flexible and will be generated following the casting of the show (Around 25 rehearsals). Actors auditioning must be available on October 8-12 (Tech week) for tech & dress rehearsals (6 PM - 10 PM), as well as performances.
Show Dates: October 13, 14, 20, & 21 at 7:30 PM, 15 & 22 at 2 PM.
