Additional Information:

I have had a strong passion for musical theatre and singing since I can remember. When I was 9 years old, I started taking dance lessons and I've been taking voice lessons since I was 14 years old. Since my freshman year of high school, I've been part of the drama guild and have taken part in all of their shows and public performances. These shows include Hairspray, The Miracle Worker, Alice in Wonderland, my school's annual children's play, and general choir performances as well. This year, I am in a student written competition play called "Take me as I am" and I am audition for my school's spring musical called "Songs from a New world and the Last Five Years". I recently started taking Piano lessons last year and have been playing the acoustic guitar for 5 years now. Singing and performing on stage makes me who I am, and continues to be my favorite thing in the world. A career goal for me is to make sure I am always doing something where I feel satisfied and happy. I see a lot of my classmates and friends always looking at the money aspect of jobs and which job guarantees finical success, instead of focusing on what they enjoy the most. I understand that it's extremely important to support yourself in the future, but it's also crucial to be doing something that your heart is committed to.

I have had a strong passion for musical theatre and singing since I can remember. When I was 4 years old, I started taking dance lessons and I've been taking voice lessons since I was 12 years old. Since my freshman year of high school, I've been part of the drama guild and have taken part in all of their shows and public performances. At Chelmsford High School, where I was for two yeas, these shows included Hairspray, Mary Poppins, and the school's annual Children's play. I have been a member of chorus from 6th grade to 10th grade. I was also in the show choir in middle school for all four years. I took every chance I had to do anything to do with singing and dancing because it's something I never want to let go of. At the school where I am now, I joined the drama guild immediately where I have been in the production of Godspell, The Miracle Worker, and recently auditioned for the student written completion play called "Take me as I am". For those first two shows at the school where I am now, I was not a lead role. Even though I felt a little defeated as this year I'm a senior and played an extremely minor role in "The Miracle Worker", my passion for being on stage took over. I still committed myself to each rehearsal and went to weekend set building days that were sometimes 8 hours long because feeling a part of a community is important to me. It also proves to my director how much I care about moving forward in the guild and improving. Being in these shows definitely payed off, because it makes me feel accomplished and confirms my love for the performing arts. When I transferred to the Academy of Notre Dame my junior year, I joined the A cappella club, the guitar club, and the Glee club. These clubs perform in all school liturgies, holiday performances, talent shows, etc. I've also performed in shows outside of my school, such as Mama Mia, Wicked, and Alice in Wonderland.
