Acting, Theater, Band Gigs, Singing
I worked in theatre as a stage manager for the production of "Annie." Lots of hard work, very rewarding.
I modeled once. Was selected to be one of eight runway models out of 1000 women. While I believe we were selected on our looks, I would have to say my poise and professionalism landed me the job.
Interests: I have worked on successful political campaigns and have raised thousands of dollars for cancer research and the theatre/arts. I love to travel and can do so if and when called (having no family helps me to do this).
I like photography, film, entertaining, great conversation and writing. I am an "idea" person and love to brainstorm. I have a knack for spotting trends or starting them. Others have told me my intelligence borders on genius. I have an uncanny ability to know what works and what doesn't.
Having said that, I think Ugly Betty needs a much older sister or aunt (that being me, of course) to add more humor and some spice to the show. I have a few ideas to accomplish this, should a casting director be interested.
I would also love to be on your up and coming "kitchen" disaster shows. I once made macaroni and cheese that could have substituted for paste (it was rather cheesy though) and I have never been able to live that down thanks to my siblings who love to remind me of my great culinary skills. I was 13 when I made it. I cannot remember anyone else volunteering to make lunch on vacation. They will also tell you that I like to put ketchup with potato chips, however, I have a more sophisticated palette today. Now I just like chips without ketchup!
How about "Kim in the Kitchen." Sounds like a winner to me and this could be your new TV reality show mega hit. Each week I would cook up a storm and our guest cook would be a child. We would make the same dessert or main dish and celebrity chefs would be our judges. While we were cooking, I would interview the child and ask them what their mom or dad cooks up in the kitchen (sort of like Art Linkletter). The show would be hilariously funny and great for the entire family!
Personally. . . I am a people person and love to laugh. I have a presence when I walk into a room. Being a Leo, one has a flair for the dramatic.
I can also improvise. While at a corporate thank you event before a couple hundred people, I was asked to be a part of the evening entertainment. My role included standing behind the back of a person and making gestures with my arms and hands while they told a story or joke. Needless to say, the audience roared. They made my day as much as I made theirs.
If you are looking for someone who can blend into the crowd, sell a product, move someone to do something for a greater cause, or laugh until they cry, I am your future star. This may be Casting360, however some of us are a natural 10, although you can be the judge of that.
Thank you for considering my profile. I look forward to receiving your call!
